Jasmine Pearl

Jasmine flowers are one of the most traditional additions in Chinese tea. Jasmine pearls are a rolled combination of green tea leaves and jasmine flowers, allowing a very strong infusion of flavors. Our Jasmine pearls contain both green tea and oolong. When brewed it is sweet and refreshing, and they uncurl themselves in a beautiful spectacle. History: The jasmine plant came from India into China sometime during the Han dynasty. In the beginning, jasmine rolled with tea was a treat that typically only emperors got to enjoy, even earning it the nickname of "emperors blend" today.  

Aroma: floral and fruity 

Flavor: mellow, sweet floral  

Brewing: 175°F for 2 minutes. Recommended 3g of tea for 6 fl oz water.
